Calvin Swift
The family of prisoner Calvin Swift is strongly advocating for his release from Soledad State Prison. "We feel that he has served his sentence and it is time for him to come home," said Kwanzaa Swift, his cousin.

A native of San Francisco, Swift has only one living parent, his father, Walter Swift, whom he has not seen for 22 years.

The family plans to provide Swift with housing, employment and lots of love when he is released from prison. A host of uncles, cousins, nephews and many other relatives are waiting to see him. Swift has applied for parole but has been denied each time.

The family is urging the California State Prison Board, the Gov. Schwarzenegger and the Soledad Prison Parole Board to consider his case.

Those who wish to help are urged to write letters supporting his parole and mail them to: Calvin Swift/ Parole Board, D-23749, ND 29L, P.O. Box 705, Soledad CA 93960-0705.
