![]() Thurgood Marshall Academic High School This Unity Rally on Friday, April 18, is the project I am working on. The purpose of this rally is to help our community to better understand and respect each other and the second purpose is to make our youth aware of the unfair budget cuts and layoff of teachers that will affect our education. We are trying to invite a lot of CBOs (community based organizations) to come show us what they are a part of and in what ways they can reach out to the community. Please come participate in this special event and we will provide you with a table where you can set up all of your information on programs available to youth. We would really appreciate it if you attend this Unity Rally and youth-led event as a chance to support us putting positive efforts into improving our community. Please contact our Peer Resource Center at (415) 695-5612, extension 3116, or Ms. Valdez on her cell at (415) 335-5794 to RSVP and we will provide more information.
